HISTORY

In the 31st Century, Ozifer's population of sentient flying insects was threatened by a destabilized atmosphere. Reluctant Green Lantern Kirt Niedrigh was compelled by his power ring to assist the sentients, despite his hostility towards any beings not of Earth. Originally believing the threat was only towards a species of swamp dwellers, by asking the ring specifically, he was able to discover the true danger. Using his abilities as Earth-Man, Niedrigh was able to share the powers of Element Lad of the Legion of Super-Heroes. Amplified through the power ring, the two were able to reduce the atmospheric carbon and thereby saving the sentient insects.
