HISTORY

Accampo Tor'mn's path into the galactic underworld began after he dropped out of school. He eventually found employment as a runner for Obazaya V'Sheer, a figure publicly known as the wealthy owner of a luxurious resort planet. Initially, Accampo performed various illegal tasks for V'Sheer, justifying his actions by believing his work was victimless. That changed when Accampo later discovered V'Sheer was a high-level gun smuggler profiting from both sides of planetary conflicts. Most dangerously, V'Sheer had developed a rage-inducing transmitter, a weapon capable of artificially inciting uncontrollable fury. Accampo loaded the weapon's blueprints onto a data stick, intending to sell the information to the press to expose V'Sheer.

However, V'Sheer learned of the planned betrayal and used his extensive political influence to pull strings within law enforcement and preemptively silence Tor'mn. Before Accampo could leak the data, a warrant was issued for his arrest, branding him as a fugitive and leading to the eventual involvement of the Green Lantern Corps.[1]

Green Lantern Jessica Cruz was tasked with escorting Accampo to a Tezuan correctional facility. She took custody of him on the planet Ozrad, unaware that the law enforcement there was compromised. Some dirty cops with prototype rage transmitter guns were supposed to hit Accampo and claim self defense as an excuse to kill him. The shooters accidentally hit the Green Lantern instead, causing her to lash out violently, allowing both Cruz and Accampo to flee the scene before reinforcements could arrive.[2]

Accampo and Cruz, along with Lantern Simon Baz eventually confronted V'Sheer on his own resort planet. The mission to secure a legal confession took a disastrous turn. During the confrontation, the data stick containing the blueprints was destroyed, leaving them without physical proof of V'Sheer's crimes. In a move to prove V'Sheer's guilt, Accampo turned the rage transmitter on the resort planet’s unsuspecting guests. Accampo effectively proved the existence and efficacy of V'Sheer's illegal technology, leading to his arrest.[3]
