HISTORY
His starcruiser damaged during a space battle, Tessog made a fiery crash on the planet Daxam. Unconscious, he was pulled from the wreckage by a young Daxamite boy, Sodam Yat. Over the course of weeks, the two became friends as Tessog was brought back to health. Tessog shared his knowledge of the universe but Sodam knew Daxam would not accept an alien from another world and had hidden the wreckage of Tessog's ship as well as convinced his friend to remain in his cave shelter.
Tragically, other Daxamites had discovered Tessog. When Sodam Yat was away, they seized Tessog and cleared the cave of every trace of his presence. Sodam was taken by surprise when he went to visit his missing friend and was forced by his parents Cara and Diro Yat into psychological reprogramming to drive fear into his mind.
Sodam Yat would next see his friend at Daxam's Museum of Natural History where Sodam would learn of his world's cruelty. Tessog had been taxidermied within a grotesque display. The exhibit was designed to frame the alien not as a sentient being of intelligence and warmth, but as a monstrous threat.[1]
