HISTORY

Tharnn, located in Space Sector 3009, is a tropical world primarily inhabited by the Varrgels, a sentient but primitive species. For years, the planet was defined by its status as a seasonal hunting ground for the Khunds, a warrior race that took advantage of the Varrgels' perceived lack of technological and martial development.

The history of Tharnn changed drastically during a Khund hunting expedition that drew the presence of Dex-Starr, the volatile and loyal housecat turned Red Lantern. Inspired by Dex-Starr, Shaa tapped into her own dormant rage.

Moving from prey to predators, the Varrgels launched a violent revolt against their Khundish occupiers. This unexpected resistance successfully drove the Khunds from the planet, effectively ending the era of Tharnn as a hunting preserve.
