HISTORY

A 53rd Millennia pandimensional scout crossing into an uncharted continuum, the alien known as Gravesend was mortally wounded in transit. In his own words, Gravesend's body and mind were ressurrected by the overlords of that dying universe. These were an ancient race who had conquered time and space by manipulating the fabric of their universe.

Gravesend was entrusted with the Tempesthold which contained the "ethereal soul" of their race, but the crossover to his home universe hurles him centuries in Earth's past and the Temepesthold's contents were lost. He became molecularly unstable anywhere outside of Chronopolis. - Chronos #10
